Jeff Mazzola: Producer

Mr. Mazzola began his film career as a property master 17 years ago. He has worked closely with such distinguished film directors as Woody Allen, Stanley Tucci, Mike Newell, Paul Auster, Griffin Dunne, Nora Ephron, John Turturro and Martin Scorsese. Over the course of the last seven years he has worked as an independent producer on a variety of projects including: "It Had to Be You" starring Natasha Henstridge and Michael Vartan (Distributed by Lion's Gate, aired on Lifetime), "Suckerpunch" (Distributed by Artisan Entertainment), "Mama Mia", starring and directed by Tony Danza, "Men Lie," winner of the Golden Jury Award at the Houston International Film Festival & Berlin (Distributed by Trans-Atlantic) and "The Cottonwood", which won the Dramatic Feature Award at the Charleston International Film Festival (Distributed by New Castle Films). He has also directed/produced the short film "Made in Brooklyn", the comedy pilot "Dearly Beloved", starring Vincent Curatola ("Sopranos"), the off-off Broadway production of "Italian American Reconciliation", the one act play "Julie C.", and the feature film "Campfire Stories" (Distributed by Think Films, aired on Showtime). In 2002, Mr. Mazzola directed and executive produced the sitcom pilot, "Last Laugh", written by Denis Hamill, and starring Ray Garvey ("Hollywood Ending"), Vinny Pastore ("Sopranos"), and Tony Darrow ("Small Time Crooks"). It was the winner of outstanding achievement in filmmaking at the Indievision film festival and the official selection at the Cleveland International Festival. In 2003, Jeff directed and produced the comedy pilot "Straight Up", featuring BET comics Joe Wrecker, Dark Gabel Most, and Ghetto.
